Adrianne started making crosswords in the summer of 2024, and currently constructs minis for Slate and midis for The New York Times. She is from California but finishing her junior year abroad in the north of England, where she's immersed herself in organic chemistry research, student radio, and the wonders of Britpop and pub culture.

Malaika has been making crosswords for five years, and recently published a book of themeless midi puzzles called "Easy Crosswords for Peace." She lives in Brooklyn, where her interests include themed house parties, having a little cocktail while reading an Emily Henry book, women singing with acoustic guitar, and Ellie the Elephant.
